Juneteenth at the Beach returns to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront
TEAMLAMB The L.A.M.B.S. Foundation and the city of Virginia Beach are excited to announce that the Juneteenth at the Beach festival will be returning for its 3rd year at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront this year.
Located at the 24th street stage and park on the oceanfront, this 3-day free event is an important cultural celebration for everyone in the community of Virginia Beach and beyond.
As seen in the previous years of the festival, each day will be filled with family friendly fun, education, engagement, activities, live entertainment, games, and the opportunity to support local small businesses.

A federally recognized holiday since 2021, Juneteenth is a holiday celebrated on June 19th every year to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.
The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.

David "Israel" Leader
David “Israel" Leader is an event and production specialist, President of the L.A.M.B.S Foundation mentor, and community organizer. He is a recent award winner of the Black Brand B-Accelerator course pitch competition for "Most Likely to Expand." A true revolutionary with a vision to help elevate the Virginia creative community.

Micah Walls
Micah Walls is the Creative Director of the L.A.M.B.S Foundation. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Virginia Beach, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Fashion and Retail Management with a focus in business development.

Ed Walls is the Vice President of programs. He is lead designer for the T.E.A.M L.A.M.B brand and oversees the L.A.M.B. shop. He is experienced in event operations for mega-music festivals, like SITW, Rolling Loud, and GovBall NYC.

As the Media Director for the Juneteenth at the Beach Festival, Quentin "Cue" Toomer brings a wealth of experience and passion for storytelling to the forefront. With a keen eye for visual narratives and a dedication to community engagement, Cue is committed to capturing and amplifying the vibrant spirit and rich cultural heritage of this historic celebration. Through media, Cue seeks to honor the journey of Juneteenth, celebrate progress, and inspire unity and solidarity among attendees.
Who is TEAMLAMB & The L.A.M.B.S Foundation?
Gun violence is a serious threat within our communities. Our mission is to challenge it by spreading peace unity and positivity through our brand.
In 2011 our brother Cordaro “Lil Lamb" Simpkins, a professional boxer from the Hampton roads area, lost his life to gun violence at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. With his families blessing, The L.A.M.B.S. Foundation was created in his memory.
The L.A.M.B.S. Foundation. is a non-profit that stands for Love All My Brothers & Sisters. Through cultivating community events, mentorship, and fashion, the brand has channeled Cordaro's spirit while also capturing the heart of the 757.
